SWINDON'S Elite League 'A' meeting at Ipswich was abandoned after just eight heats of action because of wet weather.

Rain had been falling since the first race, but became increasingly heavy as the match progressed and the Foxhall Heath track was left unfit for action.

At the time of the abandonment Swindon trailed 25-23, with Grzegorz Zengota topping the Robins' score-card having notched a perfect 6 points from his two rides.
