NOTE: Under the league scoring system, Wolverhampton gained 3 points and Swindon received 0.

WITHOUT in-form Swedish reserve Thomas H. Jonasson, Swindon produced an eye-catching performance at Wolverhampton and came close to gaining league points.

Captain Leigh Adams headed the Robins’ scoring and the Australian stalwart notched a twelve-point return from his five-ride schedule.

Elsewhere, Grzegorz Zengota amassed an impressive paid-ten haul, whilst Mads Korneliussen, Simon Stead and Morten Risager all registered six-point scores.

It proved to be a difficult night for popular Milduran Cory Gathercole, whilst the tenacious Justin Sedgmen worked hard for his paid three-point return.

The home side were well served by talented Swede Fredrik Lindgren, the youngster accrued a thirteen-point score from his five outings. Strength in depth was key to the home sides success with Ty Proctor, Adam Skornicki, Tai Woffinden and Ludvig Lindgren al weighing in with telling contributions.

Just two-point separated the sides after heat four, but Wolverhampton produced a strong middle sector which saw Peter Adams side move into a ten-point lead.

A 5-3 tactical gain for Swindon in the ninth reduced the defect to eight points, before a heat eleven 4-2 reduced it further to six. However, a heat thirteen 4-2 from Lindgren and Woffinden re-instated the Wolves’ eight-point cushion and successive 3-3 results in the concluding two races maintained the home teams advantage.
