SWINDON pulled off their sixth away win of the season with a dramatic 47-43 triumph over Lakeside at the Arena-Essex Raceway.
After falling eight points behind in the early stages, the Excalibur Robins staged an impressive comeback to take three Elite League points.
And boss Alun Rossiter was over the moon with another priceless win which moves them up to second in the table - just two points behind leaders Wolverhampton.
Said Rossiter: "I'm really proud of the boys after that win. People were talking of a crisis in the camp after we lost at Birmingham, but nine points in a week is a brilliant return.
"The boys were all fantastic tonight and it was a superb performance. The track was in quite poor condition, but I think in the end that suited us a little bit because the home side were struggling with it as well."
No.1 Hans Andersen top scored for the visitors on his return to the side - ending with three important wins after a slow start to the meeting - whilst Nick Morris also made double figures with an excellent performance riding at No.4.
Team GB man Eddie Kennett put a frustrating spell behind him to notch nine points with the World Cup fast approaching, whilst Peter Kildemand completed a strong top four which helped cover for the absence of Aussie star Troy Batchelor.
However, it was Kyle Howarth who was again the star - bagging another superb return on the road to bolster the lower order with reserve partner Ashley Birks missing due to Premier League commitments.
