ALUN Rossiter has heaped praise on his Swindon riders battling against the odds.
The injury-ravaged M&S Van Rental Robins suffered a 53-40 defeat at King's Lynn on Wednesday and will be looking for revenge at the Abbey tonight (Thursday) when the sides meet again.
Rossiter has booked former Swindon favourite Hans Andersen, his Coventry colleague Chris Harris and Poole star Kyle Newman to boost his side.
And he said: "We need our own riders back, but my thanks to the boys who stood in and we appreciate everyone helping us out.
"I just want to say how pleased I was with Nick Morris at King's Lynn, he rode well and he's improving and maturing as a rider.
"Lewis Rose did very well on his return to the side, Charles Wright and Kyle Howarth tried their very best and I just think Grzegorz Zengota needs a bit more luck, he's a good rider.
"Troy Batchelor is a big miss. We need everyone to come along tonight and get right behind the boys, there are lots of positives and we also have some great guys guesting - I think we can win on our own track."
