POOLE v ROBINS, PREVIEW

Tuesday August 21, 2018
SWINDON skipper Nick Morris has called for more consistency ahead of his side’s trip to Poole on Wednesday (7.30).

The CFS Filtration Robins slipped to a fourth defeat in five meetings at Wolverhampton on Monday, ahead of their visit to Dorset for their final away fixture of the season.

It's been just shy of four months since their last success on the road and with the Blunsdon outfit having ridden more meetings than their rivals, and only just clinging onto fourth place in the current standings, Morris says a second victory of the season at Wimborne Road is essential.

“We need to go there and hope that for the first time this season we all perform as a team,” Morris admitted.

“It’s been the same all season long away from home unfortunately.

“One or two of us do really well and the rest of the boys struggle or only have average nights.

“Admittedly it’s not looking good for us at the moment but we have to keep battling right until the end because finishing in the top four is what it’s all about.”

Swindon are at full strength while Poole draft in Belle Vue’s Mark Riss for Frederik Jakobsen with rider replacement operating for Nicolai Klindt as the Pirates’ duo are both riding in the Danish League.

POOLE: Brady Kurtz, Josh Grajczonek, Richie Worrall, Nicolai Klindt R/R, Chris Harris, Kacper Woryna, Mark Riss.

SWINDON: Troy Batchelor, David Bellego, Adam Ellis, Tobiasz Musielak, Nick Morris, Zach Wajtknecht, Jack Smith.
