SWINDON boss Alun Rossiter has revealed there’ll be no Nick Morris or David Bellego in their 2019 side.

Aussie Morris has been with the Robins for seven straight seasons while flying Frenchman Bellego has enjoyed a solid couple of years at the club.

Both have contributed to league glory with the Abbey Stadium outfit but will be riding elsewhere next season.

Said Rossiter: “Nick indicated he’d like a season away from Swindon as he feels it will benefit his career.

“We really didn’t want to let him go because we think there’s so much more to come from him still.

“But Nick is someone we all get on great with at Swindon and someone we’ve watched grow and if he feels a year away from Swindon will help him then I guess we have to co-operate.

“Hopefully it works out for him and I’m sure he’ll be back in Swindon colours again one day in the future.

”As for David he’s just a victim of the famous numbers game.

“It’s a shame because he’s been brilliant for Swindon over the past two seasons and he’s improved as a rider as well.

“I sincerely hope he gets fixed up somewhere else in British Speedway because he’s a smashing fella and he’s a really good rider on his day too.

“Hopefully we can also work with David again in the future too and we wish him all the best.”

The Robins have already confirmed the return of 2017 World Champion Jason Doyle and 2018 Rider of the Year Tobiasz Musielak - and more names are expected to be announced next week.
