SWINDON boss Alun Rossiter admitted the win at Poole was a “massive boost” for everyone at the club.

The CFS Filtration Robins ran riot at Wimborne Road with a stunning 53-37 victory in the Premiership Supporters Cup on Good Friday morning.
The Wiltshire side’s top three were in scorching form on the seaside, only dropping two points in 15 outings.
Tobiasz Musielak hit a paid 15 maximum while Jason Doyle and Troy Batchelor only dropped a point apiece.
Rossiter was naturally delighted, saying: “That’s a big result for us. I think this is a massive boost for everyone at the club.
“It’s been an excellent 48 hours with a good opening fixture on the new track. I would have preferred to get a win but the main thing was for it to go well and it did.
“But to then get such a resounding win at Poole is great. The top three were outstanding and they made all the different, they dominated the meeting.
“We were solid throughout and once we got in front we always looked in control and that’s very satisfying from my point of view. It’s a very Good Friday for us.
“It means we go into Monday’s home meeting with Ipswich with a spring in our steps. It’s the perfect confidence booster for all the boys.”
The Robins hit the front in Heat 3 thanks to a big 5-1 from Musielak and Ellis over Josh Grajczonek and Brady Kurtz.
It remained a four-point gap until Musielak struck again with Ellis with a 4-2 in Heat 7. Poole did try to fightback but the killer blow came with Batchelor and that man Musielak again hitting a maximum in Heat 12 to extend the lead to 10 points.
A final heat 5-1 from the same pairing rounded off a fine performance from the Robins against the reigning Premiership champions.
The Robins now take on Ipswich in the latest Premiership Supporters Cup clash at 7.30pm on Monday night.
