SWINDON are without inspirational leader Jason Doyle for tonight’s Premiership clash with Peterborough at the Abbey (7.30).

Doyle was involved in a spectacular crash in Poland on Sunday and has sustained a broken rib and a lung injury.

The CFS Filtration Robins have moved swiftly to book his fellow Australian Brady Kurtz as cover. Kurtz has experience on the newly shaped Abbey track having visited with Poole on opening night last month.

Peterborough, meanwhile, have lost the services of Lasse Bjerre after crashing at Newcastle on Sunday and will cover his rides under the rider replacement facility.

Swindon boss Alun Rossiter said: “It’s a tough meeting for us now, Peterborough are really going to push us hard and we will need to be on form.
“I’m looking forward to a good night of racing and hopefully we’ll see a big crowd to get behind the boys.”
