FANS’ favourite Rasmus Jensen scooped the club’s Rider of the Year award at last night’s end of season celebration.
The dynamic Dane was voted by supporters after enjoying a stellar debut season in the top flight.
Jensen tallied up 34 points in the play-off meetings to help catapult the CFS Filtration Robins to Premiership glory.
The 26-year-old had been on the club’s radar for a number of years and has proved to be a shrewd signing - increasing his average by over three points from 4.51 to a dominant heat leader average of 7.86.
Meanwhile, skipper Jason Doyle was named the ‘Bonus Point King’ with Troy Batchelor winning the prestigious ‘Bob Kilby Gater of the Year’ award.
In addition, the Abbey Stadium track staff were awarded the ‘Unsung Heroes’ award for their tireless work developing and maintaining the new revamped circuit.
