NEW Swindon signing Jordan Stewart has admitted he’s frustrated by playing the waiting game.

Aussie ace Stewart linked up with the Premiership champions during the winter but has yet to meet up with his CFS Filtration colleagues because of the coronavirus crisis.

He’s back home but insists he is staying on top of his fitness levels and will get the first available flight back to the UK as soon as the season can start – but this will be no earlier than June 15.

Said Stewart: “Obviously the season’s been put on hold because of the virus, but hopefully it won’t be too much longer and we can be back racing. It’s frustrating but we have to do what it right, we have no choice.

“Training is still happening and everything is prepared and ready to go in England, but until then we’ve just got to sit tight and wait and see what happens.

“I’m really looking forward to getting over there and racing for Swindon. I think it’s a huge step in my career, and I can’t wait to get going.”

Meanwhile title winner Rasmus Jensen has agreed to take the stage on the club’s facebook platform this Tuesday for a live Q&A.

Starting at 6.30, Jensen will be on hand to answer questions from fans far and wide.
