SWINDON fans are in for a treat this week with a double helping of Grand Final action.

The club’s youtube channel are showing both legs of the 2012 title battle with rivals Poole.

And a unique addition to the rewind, CFS Filtration Robins co-promoter Lee Kilby will be talking to team boss Alun Rossiter and former Swindon rider Simon Stead, who was in the team for both legs after going close to the sack a few weeks earlier!

Said Kilby: “On both Saturday and Sunday evening at 6.30 our youtube channel is the place to be.

“I remember both legs like they were yesterday, I was involved as a fan and it was unbelievable what the boys achieved.

“And on Thursday I had a great video conference chat with Rosco and Steady for almost an hour which will be shown in two separate slots after the meetings.

“It was great fun, we laughed a lot and the boys tell some amazing stories from that year.

“It’s just a little something we are doing for our fans, we’re updating social media daily and have been since the end of last season and we’ll be coming up with fresh content regularly.”

The club’s popular season delay programme is heading to print for issue 3 and is available to order now from the publishers at – including columns from Rossiter and Kilby, a Leigh Adams retro poster to pull out, Director Steve Park writes plus content from the top writers in the sport.

The first two issues remain in stock at the Curtis Sport website to complete the unique collection.
