SWINDON skipper Jason Doyle has his eyes on a second world title.

With plans for the 2020 FIM Speedway Grand Prix series yet to be unveiled, Doyle insists he wouldn’t even turn up if he didn’t believe he could win it.

Doyle is featured in Swindon’s latest edition of the club’s season delay programme as the main interview.

Tournament organisers are continuing discussions with the aim of the championship taking place at some stage later this season.

Doyle win his only world title in 2017 – ironically the last time his home country Australia staged a Grand Prix.

“I wouldn’t be lining up in the GP if I didn’t think I had another world title in me,” he said. “Every time I go out to race it’s to win. I have belief in my own ability to perform well and I’ll continue to believe.

“It’s important to make a good start to the series when we do get going.”

Also lined up in the programme is a preview to the European Championship series with Abbey announcer Dave Rowe, columns from club bosses Lee Kilby and Steve Park, the sport’s top writers with their latest views and a Troy Batchelor poster.

It’s available online now from for £2.25 plus postage and all previous seven issues remain in stock to complete the collection. All orders received by Wednesday will be posted out on Thursday.
